5 things to give your AI agent so it answers well
10 October 2026 · 5 min read
An AI agent cannot guess your business. It answers from the information you give it. The better informed it is, the fewer conversations it hands over to your team.
1. Your products and prices
Add each product or service with its exact price. The agent only quotes prices from your catalogue. If a price is missing, it does not invent one: it hands over.
2. Your opening hours
Set your opening days and hours. Outside them, the agent tells the customer when you reopen, or hands the conversation to your team, as you choose.
3. Your website or documents
Paste your website address, or import a PDF: delivery conditions, prices, frequent questions. The agent uses them to answer.
4. A few example answers
Write three or four common questions with the answer you would give yourself. The agent adopts your tone.
5. Your handover rules
Say which cases you want to handle yourself: custom quotes, complaints, large customers. The agent then informs the customer and alerts you.
Test before connecting
The test chat in your dashboard shows the agent's real answers without sending anything to your customers. Ask it the questions your customers ask most.
