How to avoid a WhatsApp Business ban
Only message people who agreed to be contacted, send useful messages, respect the 24-hour window and approved templates, and stop immediately if a customer writes “STOP”.
Meta monitors conversation quality: if many people block or report a number, its quality drops, then it can be limited or blocked. The goal is simple: make your messages expected and useful.
The rules that matter
- Consent: only write to people who contacted you or agreed to hear from you.
- Usefulness: a message should bring something (an answer, a confirmation, an appointment reminder), not repeated advertising.
- 24-hour window: after 24 hours without a customer message, only Meta-approved templates are allowed.
- Opt-out: if a customer writes “STOP”, never contact them again. WhatzAI does this automatically.
- Pace: do not send hundreds of messages at once with a new number; increase gradually.
- Content: nothing prohibited by WhatsApp's commerce policy, no suspicious links.
What WhatzAI does for you
We only use Meta's official API. Campaigns require a consent attestation, respect sending limits and automatically exclude opted-out contacts. This reduces the risk without removing it: you remain responsible for the content of your messages.
